INTO PARADISE Dublin

Hi there!

Yes, another band to share here...Not from Sweden but Dublin, UK. Amazing irish band from the late 80s/early 90s and which their influences include Joy Division. An indie/alt band which I think has a melancholic/darker side in some of their songs. Still an underrated band among the hundreds of bands that emerged during that era.

I recently "re-discovered" this band and really glad I did cuz they are really catchy and worth mentioning. Familiar tunes and style, simple yet addictive, reminds me of some of our local indie bands too during that time. I don't have all their albums yet but I like these shown. Grab them if you have not., especially if you like the 90s.

During the 90s I remembered there were so many indie bands coming out of UK that many of us listened mostly the POPULAR ones and didn't have time to explore the more underground/underrated ones. That's when "re-discovering" comes in!

Well, I've always loved to explore and listen to any "junk" that comes along, and in the past we do not have youtube or spotify to sample the songs. The only way we can try was to listen at Tower Records or HMV or any cd shops or, many times I would "gamble buy" to test it at home. That was when I spent a lot of money buying cds and I could go back with a whole stack of it during the weekends to listen to...I was addicted to music and the more I listen the more I thirst for it. Go ahead and rediscover some "older" releases!

Their earlier album is not as dark as the latter ones I think.
