Experimental Black metal from these Dutch purveyors of dark music. The album is fierce, menacing and you can feel the deep dark blackness surrounding. This is not as strong as the first one, and probably many experimental black metal fans might find it generic, but I still liked it.

Their first album was 5 years ago and that was an amazing piece of blackness, cult status even. Get that if you have not!

Again, this album seemed a little "safe" /generic considering many other bands have played similar style, and it is not easy to "stand out" from the crowd these days. The complex intricacies are within and you probably have to listen a few times before sinking in/grasping.

I felt the album is incomplete and "haphazard" at times. The feeling that this album is not really "leading you anywhere" after the whole album ends. The feeling is like being woken up abruptly when you are having a wonderful dream, and after you are awake, you can't seem to go back to sleep and dream the same dream anymore. :)

Maybe this is just a teaser or a transition to a future classic 3rd album!
